In fact, it’s precisely this relatable, boy-next-door charm that’s helped him win him legions of fans post-X Factor and, subsequently, more and more collaborations with pop’s power-players. The latter trend continues on album number four. Featuring compositions by Ryan Tedder and Steve Robson, a duet with Demi Lovato, and – incredibly – a co-write with the Modfather himself, Mr Paul Weller, Murs’ star appears to be very much in the ascendency, still. Who says nice guys finish last?
